Rack Enclosures with separate chambers

Some server rooms - datacentres accommodate multiple users in a single Rack Cabinet. Cabinets with separate cubicles allow secure access only to specific equipment.

In addition to the extended depth models, there are models that provide extra space for cables and improved airflow.

Ingress Protection (IP)

The IP rating is also known as Ingress Protection or International Protection rating is defined according to the international standard EN 60529 (British BS EN 60529:1992). This standard is used to determine the levels of watertightness of Rack Enclosures against ingress by foreign bodies such as tools, dust and moisture. Seismic protection

Rack Cabinets with seismic protection are designed to Seismic Zone 4 standards, making them ideal for applications that may be affected by earthquakes or subject to regular vibrations, e.g. industrial plants with vibrating equipment.

Cable & accessory management

The wide range of complementary accessories available maximises the usability and safety of the cabinets. For example, the vertical cable guides, which help to keep the cables of the appliances perfectly organized, avoid damage and perhaps dangerous interventions to untangle them. The addition of fans ensures that the correct temperature is maintained inside the cabin, which is a prerequisite for the proper functioning of the appliances, while the wheels ensure that the equipment can be moved easily when necessary.
