Height

The height of the Racks is measured in Us. Each U is 1.75 inches or 44.45mm. For example, a 42U cabinet has an internal height of 42x1.75 = 73.5 inches / 1866.9 mm. A Rack Sever or Rack UPS typically occupy 2U. Be sure to make an accurate calculation of the height of the equipment to be accommodated as well as the available height for equipment that can be installed later.

Depth

Depending on the equipment that the rack will accommodate, you must choose the depth of the rack.

Weight of equipment

Rack - Cabinets can accommodate equipment up to a weight limit. Make sure that the total weight of the equipment does not exceed the weight limit of your equipment.
