To select the right enclosure, you need to consider the dimensions of the rack enclosure. Learn how.

What Rack sizes are available?

Height

The height of the Racks is measured in Us. Each U is 1.75 inches or 44.45mm. For example, a 42U enclosure has a usable height of 42x1.75= 73.5 inches / 1866.9 mm. A Server Rack or a UPS Rack usually occupy from 2U. It is important to know the exact dimensions of the device to be housed and the available space for its placement.

Width

Similar to the dimensions of the device to be housed in the rack, you need to select its depth.

Floor-Standing Rack

Individual depth of the enclosure.

Bare enclosure

Racks and Cabinets should be selected based on the dimensions of each bare enclosure. Ensure that the overall dimensions of the bare enclosure do not exceed the available rack space.
